A Note About Our Natural Soy Candles
At Sukoon Candles (Pronounced: Sue koon) our candles are handcrafted with 100% natural soy wax, poured in small batches. This artisanal process can result in slight variations between candles, adding to their unique charm.
You may notice darker patches or “wet” spots in your candle. These are natural occurrences in soy wax and don’t affect the quality or scent throw. Similarly, white frosting or an uneven surface is a characteristic of natural soy wax.
These imperfections are a testament to the handcrafted nature of our candles. We believe in using natural ingredients and creating products that are both beautiful and sustainable.

What is soy wax, and why do you use it?
Soy wax is a natural, renewable resource derived from soybeans. It burns cleaner, produces less soot, and lasts longer compared to paraffin wax, which is a petroleum byproduct.
How strong are your candle scents?
Our candles provide a balanced scent throw—strong enough to fill a room without being overpowering. Our fragrances are crafted to bring the essence of South Asia into your space.
Candle Care & Usage
What is the best way to burn your candles?
Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before lighting. Allow the wax to melt evenly to the edges on the first burn to prevent tunneling. Avoid burning for over 4 hours.
How do I store my candles and wax melts?
Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain their fragrance and quality.
Can I reuse the candle jars?
Absolutely! Clean out the leftover wax with warm, soapy water, and reuse the jars for storage, plants, or decor.

How long do your candles burn?
Our 8oz candles burn for approximately 40–50 hours, while our 2.5oz wax melts provide about 8–10 hours of fragrance per cube.
What if I have allergies or sensitivities?

Are your products vegan and cruelty-free?
Yes! Our candles and wax melts are 100% vegan and cruelty-free.
What’s the difference between candles and wax melts?
Candles are designed to be burned with a wick, creating both light and fragrance. Wax melts are wickless and are melted in a warmer, releasing their fragrance without an open flame. Wax melts are a great option for flame-free environments or if you prefer a more subtle scent experience.
